This will give small and big businesses a chance to increase their reach.WhatsApp product head Nikila Srinivasan said that this feature is currently in testing phase and will soon be rolled out in a phased manner.
WhatsApp channels can now become subscription based. This means that creators and brands will be able to charge monthly fee from users for certain special content.
